PicsMatch will run in the following environment:

    • 1GB of free memory for compatible versions of Windows XP
    • 2GB of free memory for compatible versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7
    • Note: If you have a large number of photos or high resolution photos, consider free memory of greater than 2GB
  • Disk Space
    • 200MB available for installation
  • Monitor
    • 1024 x 768 Resolution (minimum)
    • High Color (65536 colors minimum)
    • 1920 x 1200 Resolution (maximum)

What picture file formats does PicsMatch support?
PicsMatch has the ability to scan any of the following graphics file formats: TIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, and GIF.

What support options are available?

How do I upgrade to the latest version of PicsMatch?
To upgrade your version of PicsMatch go to "Help" then "Check for Updates". This will scan for updates and pick up any that are available for you.

Are the Tags I enter searchable?
When you enter tags in photos through PicsMatch, they are searchable through the keyword search in the top right of PicsMatch. You can perform batch tagging by selecting multiple images and right-clicking.

What happens if my computer crashes with a download version PicsMatch?
No Sweat. Contact support with your order number and we'll send you a new activation key and download link. No worries, you'll be up and running again in no time.

Do I have a powerful enough machine for PicsMatch?
The facial recognition portion of PicsMatch requires CPU processing power that can process large graphic files. As a result, slower and older processors may not have adequate processing power to permit PicsMatch to process and match faces in a timely manner. Please confirm your processor before purchasing PicsMatch.

Can I use PicsMatch with third party photo editors?
Absolutely. Although PicsMatch features a number of photo modifcation tools, you can click "Open Editor" to open any photo editing software. From MS Paint to Photoshop, PicsMatch interfaces right into your default image editor.

Do you offer the product internationally?
Currently, PicsMatch is sold only in the United States. The product has not been adapted nor certified for international Windows operating systems. PicsMatch.com plans to sell the product internationally as soon as internationalization development is completed.

What if PicsMatch has a new version? Do I have to pay again?
Purchasers of PicsMatch will receive free upgrades until December 31, 2009 or when release 5.0 is announced (whichever is sooner). Users of the current and previous versions might be required to pay an fee to upgrade to the newer versions when they are developed. These fees are used to fund further product development and powerful enhancements to the product.

Do I have to upload all of my photos to a website to use the program?
No way! PicsMatch gives YOU the privacy and power to share the photos you want. PicsMatch is desktop software that scans the files on your computer and network drives. You have the ability to upload your files to your online Flickr and Facebook accounts, but this is an option, not required.
